Weekend Fun

Sherman and I took our girls to Kid Fest this weekend. We thought they would be so excited and have a great time but it looks as though we have a couple of "tweens" on our hands! They weren't too interested in the rides or jumping castles although they did like the song and dance performances. I think the girls are growing up and perhaps Ava will like Kid Fest in a couple of years.

On another note, "Super Sherman" is almost done fixing up our new home! He has been working day and night for the past ten days painting, weeding, sanding, putting up new walls- I am so impressed with all his work and I am excited to start decorating. We went to the annual neighborhood block party on Saturday night and had a great time. Grace and Gianna enjoyed playing with the four other kids on the block and all of our neighbors were so kind and welcoming. 

Grace has finally learned how to ride her bike (thanks to a final little nudge from Grandma and Grandpa)! Grandpa bought her a new purple bike- she had to have purple because it's her Aunt Dee Dee's favorite color :)
