BABY EMMA HOPE HAS ARRIVED!

Baby Emma Hope arrived on Friday, July 31st at 7:11 p.m. She weighed a whopping 8 pounds and was 20.5 inches long. We had two great doctors who successfully turned her from the breech position at 7:00 a.m., labor was induced and our little girl was born 12 hours later. I was thrilled because most versions don't work and I didn't have to get a csection (which I was so nervous about).  We are so blessed to have such a beautiful and sweet little girl. She is a great eater and a good sleeper (during the day), we're still working on the night time sleeping. Having a newborn is definitely easier the second time around. Sherman and I have been pretty calm about everything and we are enjoying our daughter. I think Sherman missed his true calling as a midwife :)! He is so helpful with Emma and caring with me. We have had so much help from family and greatly appreciate everyones love and support. Grace and Gianna are loving being big sisters and the whole eight year age difference makes them great helpers! Grace has been spending her days with Aunt Dee-Dee who drove up from Southern California, thank you Cindy! Enjoy the pictures!
