Scattered, Tired And A Little Bit Overwhelmed

Last night was a rough night for little Emma. She didn't want to sleep and therefore mommy didn't sleep. Emma and I finally started snoozing at around 5:00 am. Grace gets up at 7 am to get ready for school, so while little Em's still sleeps, I get up and get breakfast for Grace, pack her snack and lunch, help her pick out her clothes etc. As Sherman and Grace head out the door I look over at Emma sleeping so peacefully. The thought of taking a nap floods through my head but then I remember how behind I am in my research for class tomorrow and how I have no milk pumped for when I am in class tonight. The thought of taking a nap quickly fades and stress takes over. Grace has minimum days all week and a bunch of appointments scattered in between. As I scour through databases and research pertaining to my masters thesis topic, I finally find something that will work for my assignment due tomorrow...things are looking up! One hundred and twelve printed pages later and its time to pick up Grace. Hmmm....didn't really get a chance to start reading but at least I have it (well half of it, my computer failed to print pages 30-50). Grace, Emma and I try to quickly get some groceries and Emma was a bit unhappy towards the end of our Safeway endeavor. We're finally home, Emma has poop all over her and she's starving! It's n0w 2:00, Grace is in tears because her homework is too hard, Em's is attached to the boob and I still haven't touched tomorrows assignment or pumped any milk! We're about to leave for Grace's appointment in Lafayette, which being in Moraga, feels like a million miles away and by the time I get back I'm off to Saint Mary's. Em's is sure going to be mad if she doesn't get some booby in a bottle for tonight and I will surely be looked down upon if I don't get my assignment done! I honestly don't know where the time goes.
