I have been adjusting fairly well to living in Southern California after spending the last 30 years of my life about 400 miles north of here. June, July, August, September, October all great: beautiful skies, gorgeous beaches, vibrant foliage, a light drizzle here and there. Overall, pretty perfect if there is such a thing. Then November hits. And we apparently are living in the Sahara Desert. It is dry and hot. When I say dry I mean lizard skin, cracking lips, parched mouth and the overall urge to bathe in Aquaphor. I wake up at night gasping for air as it feels like someone has taken an electric sander to my mouth. I am awaiting some sort of humidity, moisture, rain, cloud coverage but alas NOTHING! Hopefully I can find a good deal on a humidifier.
