An Eggcellent Easter

I I We started off Easter weekend with the South Shores Church Easter Eggstravaganza. Grandma & Grandpa joined us for the festivities. We visited the petting zoo, pony rides, games, cupcake decorating, arts & crafts, bouncy houses and ate snow cones.
Easter Sunday we ate a late lunch with family and friends. Sherm and I cooked a surf & turf style meal for our guests. Grace & Emma hunted for eggs in the backyard while Lily Mae watched from her bouncy seat (next year Lily Mae!). While observing Grace, Emma soon realized that these eggs she found harbor yummy chocolate goodies! Little Em's then proceeded to aggressively open each of her eggs and devour as much chocolate as she could before someone (MOM because we ALL know her DADDY would NEVER stop her!) caught her.
Today we (meaning Grace & I) are doing some Spring cleaning until Grace left me for a better activity - lunch & shopping with Grandma! Well at least I got her to clean out her closet before Grandma arrived.
I have no idea why two of my children decided to dress in costume for the egg hunt now my pictures don't show their cute Easter dresses. Oh well, sometimes you've got to go with the flow!
