Mall-Rats

So I just got back from the mall with the two youngins' and it went great. Way better than I expected. I had so much anxiety about taking them to the mall.

I wanted to do a little Mother's Day shopping for my mom ( aka: the angel of Mauna Kea Place) and get Emma a pair of Crocs (yeah I know ... they're not the cutest) but the girl needed some water play shoes. I dreamt about the trip, fretted about it, planned "army like" maneuver tactics just to get in and out of there in one piece. Low and behold, we made it without any crying or diaper changes, can I get an AMEN!

Lily slept in the BabyBjorn and Emma chilled out in her stroller with a lollipop ... I know, I know bad mom giving candy but hey whatever works. We found grandma (my mama) a nice gift, bought some Crocs and lipstick for mommy and left.

I was beyond thrilled leaving and felt super cool that I handled the two babes for an hour in the mall and no one lost their composure (including myself). I won't be trying to attempt regular mall trips ... can't press my luck ... but I'm sure glad this one went well!
