Good Idea ...

With two babies at home we have a lot of dirty diapers around our house. I change about 10-14 diapers a day for Lily and 5-7 for Emma. That is a lot of diapers folks!
For about a year now I had been buying the Arm & Hammer scented baggies from Target. I'm a clean freak and poopy diapers don't linger around the house or get put in the kitchen trash. Y.U.C.K!
Those little scented baggies were starting to cost much more than we felt like spending.
Here comes the GOOD IDEA ...
I have to give credit where credit is due. Way to go Sherm. You saved us.
A couple weeks ago my husband came home from Albertsons with a "stolen" roll of those plastic bags that you put your soon to be purchased produce in. That roll had about 500 plastic bags and those baggies are perfect for soiled diapers. My husband has got BRAIN POWER! That's a lot of bags and way better than the 3.99 for 50 at Target. When you've got four kiddos, it's time to start cutting corners.
Yesterday the hubs headed back to Albertsons and attempted to sneak away with a quite larger roll than the previous one.
This time he wasn't so stealth. Not only did he get caught but he was caught by the bagger with special needs. AWKWARD. But Sherm can talk his way through anything and ended up buying over 1,000 plastic baggies for 4.99.
So parents of kiddos in diapers who like to bag those suckers up and get rid of 'em ASAP. This is our little tip to share with you.
Remember these are the clear plastic produce bags NOT the big plastic bags you put your groceries in.
