Sherm had plans to play tennis this morning. I had plans to bring E & L to Gymboree. We were going to meet up in the late afternoon and all head out to the mall for some Father's Day shopping. Plans changed when Sherman got notice that his match was cancelled due to the crummy California weather we've been experiencing. Will the sun ever shine again in this glorious part of California that we call the OC? Land of surfing, fake tans, plastic surgery, flashy cars and even flashier handbags.

Anyways ... plans changed and we headed to the Irvine Railroad Park. I've been wanting to check this place out for a long time. Today was the perfect day to take the journey.
Our first stop. The pony rides. Emma LOVES pony rides and LOVED this one even more because I got to walk the pony around the track. Then we headed to the train which took us on a picture perfect ride around the park. We concluded the trip at the petting zoo where Emma fed and brushed baby goats. What fun.
Sherm is going to bring the older duo back here at the end of the week when Gianna is visiting. There are a lot of fun older kids activities at the park and the entrance fee is only $2.00! How great is that?!
