I never thought I would like SoCal as much as I do. Yeah, our area is flashy and well maybe a tad pretentious. But it sure is safe, clean and beautiful. And we love it. We completely miss our NorCal friends & family and wish we could transport them here. I miss my TF's a lot (ladies you know who you are!) but it is my mission to host yearly get togethers so the distance doesn't take its toll.
Funny thing is, on our one year anniversary of moving here, I was out and about running errands. One of which was to the dry cleaner. I got out of the car and to my left a quite dapper older gentleman was walking towards is shiny new Jaguar.
He says to me "hello, how are you?"
"Great and yourself?"
"Just fine Miss ... another day in Paradise." And just out of a Hollywood movie he gets into his shiny Jag and drives away.
Yes Sir, you are right, this is Paradise...
