A sickness. This isn't some ordinary run of the mill three day virus. This is an all out four week, double dose of antibiotics, pre-historic virus that seems to NEVER end! We've all been sick since President's Day Weekend. Mine hit full force right after I delivered Lily Mae ( that's right we changed her name- in true Crancer fashion). We all got hit by this but Emma got it the worst. Poor little girl has been sick for a long time. She has been to the pediatrician over and over and over again. We have been on z-packs, steroids, nebulizers, advil, benadryl, nasal spray and Celdinir (most disgusting antibiotic ever!).
Needless to say life has been STRESSFUL. Two babies NOT sleeping. Oy! Sherman and I almost had mental breakdowns. Poor little Emma. Having sick babies is heartbreaking and quite frightening because they can't tell you what's wrong. We are blessed to have an AMAZING pediatrician. Although I look forward to not frequenting her office multiple times a week.
Things are getting better. My husband is amazing and completely got me through having a newborn, a sick 18 month old and healing from delivery. We've been staying at home a lot. I tried going to Trader Joe's yesterday with all three girls. It took me six hours to just get out of the house and even at that Lily Mae cried on the way there and Emma cried on the way home. Thank the Lord for my amazing Grace because she totally helped me shop and she was quite pleased because I let her put anything her heart desired in the cart! We came home with a lot of sweets, lucky Grace!
So my lovely hubby is going to court tomorrow to change Audrey Belle to Lily Mae. Love him! Going to court to change Emma's name was such a pain. All my blog readers will receive Audrey's birth announcement that I sent last week- so write in Lily Mae where her name is! She is just NOT an Audrey and we feel Lily Mae suits her better. I should not be allowed to name my children when pregnant and I am truly embarrassed that this happened again. But life goes on and a year from now you'll say Audrey...who?? In my case, I guess I really need to get to know my child before naming them. But that doesn't matter anymore because Miss Lily Mae completes our rather large family of four girls!
We are blessed , a bit stressed and I look like a complete mess!
Have a wonderful week!
P.S. : We took the "double wide" for a walk and we love it!
I can't imagine coping with sickness like that right after delivery. You and your husband deserve medals! Oh, and I LOVE Lily Mae's name!
