It is so HOT outside!
Don't get me wrong ... I didn't choose to live in the land of endless summer for nothing ... but temps have been hovering around the 100's for the entire week!
For those of you who live in other parts of the country and experience this kind of heat all summer long ... I'm sorry for complaining about a measly 6 days.
Here in our neck of the woods it averages in the 70's and 80's about 10 months of the year. No four seasons for us. It's pretty much warm, warmer and HOT!
I wouldn't have it any other way and love that on any given day I can throw on shorts or a sundress and be on my way. No winter wardrobe ... no puffy jackets! Since we moved here I have not used any of my coats that I wore from November to March up in Northern Cal. I thought I would miss a fall & winter season but I don't. Not that Northern Cal has either compared to the East but leaves would fall and nights could get rather chilly. Especially in Moraga where we would be engulfed in SF fog pretty much all year round!
I guess I really like the fact I can decorate for fall/ Halloween/ Thanksgiving/ Christmas but still have the luxury of living like it is summer!
