Weekend Plans

Friday Plans
We just came home from a very fun play date with our sweet friends : Leslie, Jack & baby McKenna. Jack & Emma had so much fun at the park together and played on the double slide for a good uninterrupted 30 minutes! Which gives us mamas time to chat :)
We are in charge of soccer snacks for tomorrows game. When the babes wake up we will head out to purchase some goodies for Grace's team. Sherman plays tennis tonight & G will be having dinner out with my parents.
Saturday Plans
We have had very sad news in our family which I have not posted about yet. Tomorrow morning Sherman leaves for Seattle. His sister, Dominique, passed away two weeks ago at the age of 45. Sherman will be attending the memorial service and flying back home tomorrow night. I had never met Dominique but I have heard so many wonderful things about her. She will live on daily in our hearts and thoughts. We were all very shocked and saddened by her death. Please pray for Sherman and his family as they grieve the loss of Dominique: a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother & friend.
While Sherman is at Dominique's service we will be at Grace's soccer game and possibly getting Emma some new clothes. Emma is very stocky and a lot of her shorts from this summer will not button. The little girls grows so fast. I cannot believe she is 43 lbs and only two! She is in desperate need of some new clothes- I feel really bad that I haven't had the chance to go shopping. I usually shop online during the Carter's "blowout sales". Since Emma is a bit "hard to fit" I think I need to take her in person. Due to her weight, she doesn't always fit in the 3T size. I am determined to schedule in some time within the next week. I did find two cute "fall" outfits for her at Costco last week however it is still so warm here!
Sunday Plans
Grace has soccer pictures at 3:00. Which always takes forever and it never fails to be 100 degrees out! Last year it was so hot that two kids passed out while waiting for their team picture. The two kids were not on our team. They were a bit younger.
I will be making a "chicken pot pie" for dinner and my parents are coming over to celebrate my 31st B-day (which is on Monday). I'm not really a birthday person but Grace loves to celebrate birthdays and I think Emma will have fun too.
And that's our weekend! Not very busy. Just things to do here & there. I do plan on getting the girls Halloween costumes soon. Lily is going to be a Bumble Bee ( Emma's first costume). Grace wants to be a Candy Corn Witch and Emma wants to be a "pin-cess". I just saw on the television that Party City is selling princess costumes for $9.99. I think we'll go check it out next week or maybe Sunday morning.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
