High Fashion

I was reading the new issue of Vogue the other day while having lunch. First off , I have no earthly idea how I ended up getting Vogue in the mail. It comes every 6 weeks and to be honest I usually never read it. Vogue magazine just isn't my thing. Probably because I don't get the "high fashion" thing. Don't get me wrong: I do like shopping and putting outfits together.
I'm not getting billed for the magazine. I should probably investigate canceling it but I am lazy about jumping through hoops trying to unsubscribe to a magazine that I never initially subscribed to. And I think Vogue always has amazing cover pictures :)
Anyways (back to the point of this post) about the first 50 or so pages of Vogue are fashion/ beauty ads. As I'm flipping through the pages, I come across a bizarre Marc Jacobs ad. It's a picture of Helena Bonham Carter looking like a "hot mess". She looks bat s**t insane and I had to gawk at it for the next 10 minutes. I seriously don't get the marketing advertisement by Marc Jacobs. I get he likes the "quirky" vibe but what woman wants to leave the house looking like this !
