7 months!

This is kind of a funny picture of Lily. She's sticking her tongue out and doesn't look too happy. Maybe it was the heat or the crowded Pumpkin Patch. But it's about the only good picture I got yesterday so it will have to do!
Lily Mae turned 7 months old yesterday! I can hardly believe only five more months until she turns one!
She is eating solids and so far likes everything I have introduced to her. She is eating 2 to 3 solids a day and nursing 4 to 5 times per day ( including her two night time feedings). I've been trying to introduce formula but she has no interest.
Lily is sitting up on her own, rolling over, babbling and doing the "army crawl". She is my early on every milestone child! She is still fairly petite which maybe helps her get around easier : )
Yesterday we went to the Irvine Railroad Pumpkin Patch as did the rest of Orange County!! It was so crowded and quite frankly not so much fun : / Sherman and I were exhausted at the end of the day. The crowd was unbearable and everything was a 45 minute wait. Not really the ideal Pumpkin Patch experience. It felt more like battling the crowds at Disneyland during the summer than a trip to the Pumpkin Patch in the fall. It was hot and crowded! To make up for the lack of pumpkins and lack of Grace being there (she was at her dads), my mom and I are taking the girls to an organic farm for pumpkin picking in San Juan Capistrano. As many of you know, my parents moved down here (thank God! they are the best!) and are residing in San Juan Capistrano. One of the most quaint, historic and beautiful cities in CA (but that's only my opinion). My mom found an organic farm near their house and brought us vegetables last week. They were so delicious and I really wanted to go in person to check it out. So I suggested going there to get our pumpkins and I am really looking forward to our excursion :)
I have been so bad at writing in Lily's baby book. However, I opened it up today and wrote down her recent milestones. I need to get better at that. Grace has about 4 baby books all perfectly written in, Emma has two about half full and Lily has one that I was diligent with until about the time she hit four months. Sorry sweet Lily Mae. I promise to get better! I think this blog is more of a baby book than her actual baby book! Happy 7 months sweet Lily Mae, we love you so very much!
