Randoms

1. Yesterday we ventured out to an amazing organic farm in San Juan Capistrano. It was a perfect fall day and hardly anyone was at the farm/pumpkin patch. My mom, Grace, Emma, Lily and myself had a great time! We picked out pumpkins, saw the roosters & chickens, walked around the beautiful grounds and bought some fruits and veggies. This was a much better experience than last weekend at the Irvine Railroad Park!

2. I feel like I am always cleaning! In a big family, clutter/ stuff can quickly over take the house.

3. Bobbi Brown is discontinuing my favorite eyeshadow. The Navajo cream shadow. I wear both Bone and Navajo on my lid accompanied by a lot of mascara to give the facade of looking wide awake! I was told that new colors will be coming out in the Spring however I made sure to purchase one Navajo creme shadow. They last forever and should get me to the Spring.

4. Sherman was out of town for most of the week and I am so excited to have him back home!

5. Back to make-up. After years of trying every single mascara known to mankind I declare that nothing can beat Lancome mascara! I am a mascara junkie and use about 4 Lancome mascaras to get my desired "fake/ dramatic" lashes look. I also never forget a lash primer (Lancome of course).

6. I am so missing working in Special Education. I am planning on regularly volunteering at the Regional Center/ Down Syndrome League or a SPED Classroom next year. I know the babies are still so young but I've got to get out once a week and work with this population that brings me so much joy. I have been starting to do some research about where I could volunteer. I will probably volunteer on a Saturday so Sherm can stay with the kiddos.

7. I got to hang out with my sister this week and we had so much fun chatting. I love spending time with her. Sisters are the best and I feel so blessed that my daughters will experience this bond.

8. I need to start planning our Thanksgiving menu, place cards, table setting etc. I have the table setting pretty much set. I ordered a leaf garland from Pottery Barn, acorn vase fillers from Pottery Barn, hurricane vases from Target and cream pillar candles from Target. I think I will head on over to Pinterest and check out some place card ideas.

9. We re-vamped the babies room and it is looking so cute. I got rid of the pink/ shabby chic theme and went with a beige/ spa blue theme. I love it and the new color looks so much crisper against the Swiss Coffee bead board. I wanted their room to coincide with the rest of the bedrooms in our house which are neutrals using mainly soft blues/ tans.

10. I am off to take Grace to the Orthodontist. She is excited about changing her rubber bands to orange & black.
